Project Overview:

Blomp needed a reliable, cost-effective payment processing system to enable smooth subscription management and customer payments. The goal was to find a PSP (Payment Service Provider) that balanced low fees, easy integration, and global reach—without overburdening the dev team or the budget.

My Contribution:

• Researched over 100+ payment processors, comparing pricing, features, onboarding speed, global accessibility, fraud protection, and compliance

• Shortlisted and presented the best options aligned with Blomp’s needs (including Square, Amazon Pay, Fiserv)

• Initiated contact and handled vendor discussions to get the right feature set within budget

• Coordinated with Blomp’s backend developer to implement the chosen PSP’s API securely

• Verified API responses, helped test subscriptions, and flagged integration bugs for the dev team

• Documented the pros/cons and integration process for future business decisions

Impact:
